Haverhill Cultural Treasures Virtual Camp

The eight Haverhill museums and cultural sites, known as the “Haverhill Cultural Treasures,” are planning four days of activities for children, April 20–23. (Download a flyer here.)

The “Haverhill Cultural Treasures” include the Buttonwoods Museum, Dustin-Duston Garrison House, Haverhill Firefighting Museum, Museum of Printing, Rocks Village, Tattersall Farm, Whittier Birthplace, and Winnekenni Castle. Activities include writing poetry, designing a shoe, planting sunflowers, hearing the story of Hannah Duston, learning about fire safety, building a bridge, and celebrating the history of print.

Presentations will take place virtually over Zoom. Program start times will be at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, and each program will last approximately one hour. All materials needed for each activity will be provided and can be picked up Thursday, April 15 (10:00 am to 4:00pm) at Buttonwoods, 240 Water Street, Haverhill or Saturday, April 17 (11:00 am to 1:00 pm) at Dustin-Duston Garrison House, 665 Hilldale Ave, Haverhill.
